Regularly shearing new growth not only keeps hedges looking good, it prevents them from becoming overgrown and requiring more labour intensive (and expensive) reductions of thicker stems. I can maintain your hedges’ shape, and can also cut back hedges that are overgrown or need to be reduced or removed.
Tree Trimming/Pruning
There are many reasons to trim and prune trees: increasing sunlight, improving views, preventing pests from using trees to access your home, and removing dead or broken limbs. I use climbing equipment, ladders and poles to perform these tasks.
Fruit Tree Pruning
Regular pruning of fruit trees keeps them at a manageable size so fruit is reachable. It also promotes fruit production and reduces disease and decay. I can prune back new growth to maintain your tree’s shape and promote fruit production. I can also remove dead, diseased, and overcrowded branches to keep your trees healthy.
Tree Removals/Storm Clean-up
Removal of large trees in hazardous locations requires specialized knowledge and equipment to be done safely. Those jobs require the expertise of certified arborists and the equipment of full-service tree companies. However, I can safely remove smaller and less hazardous trees, or limbs that have blown down or that are in less hazardous locations, at more affordable rates than full service tree companies. If any aspect of your project is beyond my scope I can refer you to partners in the tree care industry who can complete the work.
Vegetation/Debris Clearance
If you have plants like blackberries or ivy that you would like cut back or removed, I can do that!
Hauling/Debris Removal
If you have branches, trimmings. leaves or other yard waste you need removed I can do that for you, with rates starting as low as $20. I dump all yard waste at a local business which recycles it into soil for local use.
